Liz was born and raised in Michigan in the United States. She graduated from high school in 2015 and the following autumn, lived in Durban for six months where she completed her DTS.

She is currently on staff at YWAM Potch where her heart is to serve the DTS and the needs of the students along with her passion to love and help provide for the kids at Ikhaya La Bantwana, the orphanage that YWAM Potch supports. ​
