Ikaya La BaNtwanna care centre ( Orphanage)

We discovered a Orphan house in another part of Ikageng township ( African area).
Here Joyce Ntsizi is taking care for 25 children from a few months to 18 years.
Joyce is a lovely lady with passion for children. Since she were a young adult and she heard that some-one in her street put a baby on a dumping sight, she said she will rather take care of the unwanted babies.
She only get a little support from government and a few local shops help with food, but there is still a lot of needs. She also pay two ladies to help.
We got a donation from a friend to buy her a gas plate since she were cooking on a FIRE outside for them! She said her electric stove is broken and takes a lot of electricity (where it costs a lot!)
Her biggest need is a new building with enough rooms, a place to play safely ( currently they have a very small space to play, so we find them in the street sometimes) and good beds. At the moment she and the kids sleeps in the sitting room each evening ( they take out the couches and put mattresses on the floor) .
