School evangelism
Primary and high schools offer one of the greatest possibilities for evangelism in South Africa, through conducting gospel outreaches to local schools, it is possible to speak to the leaders of tomorrow at an age when they are most receptive to the gospel, and to spiritually prepare them for the challenges of life.
Schools boast anywhere from several hundred to several thousand students, who during a single morning assembly have the chance to hear the gospel message of Jesus Christ and receive salvation.
SCHOOL DICSIPLESHIP
Similar to our church discipleship program, schools offer the possibility of fruitful discipleship and mentoring for students, through lunchtime/after school programs, one-on-one ministry and class-to-class discipleship; there is great potential to further the student’s spiritual development.
There also exists the possibility of forming a bridge between the local church and the local school for the purposes of further discipleship and planting students into a local church.
As a means of evangelism, schools offer one of the most fruitful and financially viable means of sharing the gospel.
